Kyle Thompson started taking photographs at the age of 19. He started off taking photographs in abandon houses. He later did self portrait of himself in the abandon house or empty forest. His work focuses on story line that only lives in that moment. It has no start or ending like the other. “…I wanted some way to channel my emotions. I felt self-portraits were the most personal.” – Kyle Thompson.

I found this photograph have similarity to Kirsty Mitchell as the path appear to be the same with the red leaves. However, in this photograph Kyle Thompson appear to be drowning in a puddle surrounded by the red leaves. This could indicate danger for the audience. The long shot allows the audience to see the background and a path that leads the audience attention towards the subject. The red and green clashes but suit each other well. The green made the red stands out more to the audience.
